# 15 Rollyo

I am actually not at all impressed with Rollyo. Looks more complicated to me.
I don't think I'll use this again, as it didn't strike me as user-friendly.I have created my account on Rollyo and also created a Search roll

# Exercise 12 SandBox

In the beginning I found bit difficult, but tried clicking on different links and got the reuslt finally. Its easy to use and easy to understand.

# Exercise 11 - Wikis

Well, often I use Wikipedia. specially for student who come to do their home work.
Wikipedia is a free internet encyclopedia that is maintained by general users. Like an encyclopedia there are an umlimited number of subjects or topics. Terms and items in the description are cross referenced to other wikipedia entries, making it extremely easy to complete research.
Since the entry and maintenance of subject material can be edited by any Internet visitor, the information should not be considered to be complete or the final answer, but is often accurate and useful for quick information.

#10 Web 2.0, Library 2.0

There are some interesting articls on the web. I like the artical by Tom Storey on 'Where will the next generation Web take libraries?' Technology is changing every minute. and as it is mentioned in the artical - In Web 2.0, the Web becomes the center of a new digital lifestyle that changes our culture and touches every aspect of our lives. The Web moves from simply being sites and search engines to a shared network space that drives work, research, education, entertainment and social activities—essentially everything people do. You and your mobile and nonmobile devices—PDA, MP3, laptop, cell phone, camera, PC, TV, etc.—are always online, connected to one another and to the Web. This is one side

However, we should also consider that not all patron want to use these tools, many prefere to visit the library and find out information from Librarians.

# 9 Technorati

Technorati seems too much for me. No explanation about Technorati on home page.
I looked into various things like Videos, new movies - and I came across couple of links that you can actually download movies. It was interesting to have a look at how many people are looking and commenting on all these links!

#8 Tagging and discover Del.icio.us

Absolutely brilliant!!!! The good thing about social bookmarking and tagging is that you can manage your hundreds of useful sites on web very easily. It is really great that with social bookmarking you can share your knowledge with rest of the world. you can tag the site which is more important to you.

At work you can share lots of information and resource by socila bookmaking.

Things #7: RSS & A Newsreader

Well, it took little while to understand RSS and Newsreader. I started to read about RSS but so..... much to read. I can't read long long pargraphs on computer, rather I prefer short and simple steps.

Anyway, I am having look at some of the feeds and I have also subscribed some interesting topics. Now I have pleny to read online.

This technology would be great service for library patrons who are intrested in different topics including book reviews and current news.
